Grandma's butterflies

The renovation of an apartment in the centre of Lisbon inspired the creation of a new set of butterflies, destined for the bathroom of two teenage girls. New silhouettes were created, with more intricate shapes and colours in harmony with the architecture. The grandmother and great-grandmother of the family, who had recently passed away, were honoured through the impression of her handmade crochet onto the ceramic pieces
